The Leidos Defense Enclave Services (DES) team is at the forefront of a critical digital modernization initiative supporting DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies. We are in search of a skilled IT Services Project Manager to enhance our efforts in delivering a state-of-the-art digital enterprise that establishes a modern infrastructure foundation and unified architecture necessary for delivering vital combat support capabilities.
Program Summary:
The DES contract aims to provide network modernization for Defense Agencies and Field Activities in collaboration with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
Clearance Requirement:
Must have an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one before starting. (US Citizenship required)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage resource-loaded project schedules to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of migration projects.
- Oversee migration planning activities while identifying and managing risks.
- Coordinate with the DES Operations Team to manage project execution efficiently.
- Collaborate with program and government stakeholders to enhance project management processes and procedures.
- Work alongside functional support teams, including operations, project controls, contracts, and security to ensure project objectives are met.
- Document migration lessons learned for continuous improvement of future activities.
- Set project goals and create actionable plans, providing ongoing status updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and deliver briefings on project plans to key stakeholders.
- Organize meetings to review project goals and progress.
- Utilize project management tools to monitor project performance and adherence to schedules.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage AQL processes within the DES Operations Team.
- Assist in maintaining the program's Integrated Data Environment on SharePoint.
- Support technical publications with writing, peer reviews, and quality checks as needed.
- Take detailed minutes during technical meetings and prepare them for government delivery.
- Identify opportunities for automation to drive service delivery improvements.
- Communicate detailed technical information effectively, both orally and in writing.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- Proven project management success, particularly in large or complex IT migrations and consolidations.
- Experience working with ITSM tools and managing operational metrics.
- Ability to engage leadership to ascertain resource needs for projects.
- Competence in conducting project audits and managing process improvements.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
- Successful track record of working with technical teams to effectively define major project schedules.
- Experience managing project teams and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DISA and DOD regulations and directives.
- Experience in Project Integration and Services.
- Ability to define project scope and objectives that align with business goals.
- Previous involvement supporting senior management on large DoD contracts.
- Proficiency with software development tools is a plus.
- PMP Certification is preferred.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
