This is a non-exempt, on-site position based at our Calvert City, KY branch.

Bank Teller Essential Functions - Consistently display a solid grasp of compliance and detect fraudulent activity.
- Complete 15-20 highly accurate transactions per hour and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Provide high quality customer service.
- Explain, promote, and sell the bank's products and services.
- Follow company and role-based policies, procedures, and processes.
- Remain in a stationary, standing position up to 75% of the time over the course of an eight (8) hour workday.
- Clearly communicate information and ideas using computers and telephone systems.
- Review information and details at close range (within a few feet).
- Frequently operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, cash drawer, currency counter, and printer/copy machine.
Bank Teller Minimum Qualifications - Strong math and/or basic accounting skills.
- Ability to assess client needs and offer prompt and creative solutions that are mutually beneficial for the bank and its clients.
- Comfort with recommending and referring bank products and services.
- Ability to diffuse client frustrations and resolve conflicts.
- Active listening skills and a natural ability to ask clarifying questions.
- Above average computer, typing and software data entry skills.
- Previous experience manually counting cash and accurately balancing a cash drawer.
- Ability to communicate with customers fluently in English.
- Ability to commute to the primary work location and to occasionally commute to other work locations within driving distance.
- Ability to work occasional weekends and extended hours when needed.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service and answering incoming calls using a multi-line telephone system in a business setting.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cash handling role.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
