Job Description Position Overview: As a Seasonal Tax Admin, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our tax preparers and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This is a temporary, part-time position with the possibility of continued employment based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities: - Provide administrative support to tax preparers
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Greet clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with the organization and preparation of tax documents
- Handle personal documentation with confidentiality and accuracy
- Utilize tax software (potentially AlterTax) for data entry and processing
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications: - Previous administrative experience, preferably in an office setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with tax preparation processes is a plus
- Some financial background or a degree in accounting is preferred
- Experience with AlterTax software is beneficial but not required
Schedule: - This is a seasonal position lasting approximately 3 months (January to April).
- Part-time hours: 20 hours per week with flexibility.
