LOCATION: South Charlotte, Hybrid 3-4 days in office
WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT: - Data Pipeline Development:
Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to collect, process, and store large volumes of data from multiple HR systems, including ADP and other related platforms.
- Data Integration:
Ensure seamless integration of data from disparate HR systems, enabling accurate and comprehensive analysis. Work on data migration projects and automate ETL processes.
- Data Quality Management:
Implement data validation, cleansing, and enrichment processes to ensure high-quality, reliable data is available for analysis and reporting.
- Collaboration with Analysts:
Partner with data analysts and data scientists to understand their data needs and develop solutions that facilitate complex analysis, reporting, and predictive modeling.
- System Optimization:
Continuously evaluate and optimize data architectures and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Documentation and Best Practices:
Document data workflows, maintain best practices for data engineering, and mentor junior team members on data engineering techniques.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS: - 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and database management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend).
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data warehousing solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
