Our client is a global company seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Network Engineer to join their dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco networking, wireless technologies, and firewall management, particularly with Palo Alto systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and support a global network infrastructure in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Management and Troubleshooting: Utilize tools such as SolarWinds to analyze packet traces, troubleshoot network issues, and optimize performance across various network layers.
• Firewall Administration: Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, including VPN tunnel creation, security policies, and NAT configurations (e.g., U-turn NAT).
• Routing Protocols: Manage and troubleshoot BGP configurations to ensure stable and efficient network routing.
• Wireless Networking: Deploy and maintain Cisco wireless solutions, including access points and network distribution in local and remote environments.
• Cloud and SD-WAN Integration: Assist in the migration and integration of acquired companies into a unified network structure across GCP, Azure, and AWS platforms. Support SD-WAN implementation to enhance connectivity across global locations.
• Monitoring and Performance Tools: Configure and utilize LogicMonitor or similar tools for proactive network monitoring and troubleshooting, ensuring uptime and reliability.
• Collaboration and Project Work: Work closely with global teams on network-related projects, including local network access points, firewall troubleshooting, and switch deployments for distribution centers.

Required Qualifications:

• Cisco Networking Expertise: Proficiency in managing Cisco network infrastructures, including routing and switching.
• Cisco Wireless Experience: Demonstrated ability to deploy and manage Cisco wireless systems.
• Firewall Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, including advanced configurations and security policies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SD-WAN deployment and management.
• Knowledge of access point and switch deployments in distributed environments.
