Subject Matter Expert in Enterprise Governance
Duration: Long Term
Location: Bethesda, MD Remote ( Need locals to DC area- DMV Area preferred)
Pay rate: Market/Flexible
Minimum Experience:
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in establishing, implementing, and/or advising senior executives on enterprise governance and change management practices is preferred.
  • Functional Responsibility:
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for planning, executing, and/or advising on initiatives and process improvements to facilitate enterprise governance operations and effective decision making. Facilitate discussions with and/or advise senior executives on enterprise governance best practices, as needed. Assist clients in understanding and identifying enterprise governance priorities, thresholds, gaps, and key performance indicators. Perform program analyses, cost benefit, and risk analysis studies, as needed.
  • Advise on change management functions necessary to support enterprise governance evolution.
Minimum Education:
  • A relevant Master's Degree (Enterprise Governance, Business, Management, or related field). Twelve (12) years of applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
Additional Knowledge/Experience/Competency Areas of Importance:
  • Ten (10) or more years of hands-on expert level experience in establishing, implementing, and/or advising senior executives on enterprise governance practices is preferred.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong oral and writing skills, including the ability to translate different information types to diverse audience types and develop executive level presentations, and experience interacting with and presenting to senior leaders/stakeholders within an organization.
  • Strong management analysis, problem solving, analytical, forward thinking, organizational, visualization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong skills in the following key areas: strategic thinking, multi-tasking, negotiation, conflict management, time management, planning and executing to a defined schedule/budget.
