Hiring an SAP Security Manager! Our client is looking for an SAP Security Managerto join their team for a contract to hire opportunity in Mason, OH! Your role will be to identify, drive, and execute innovative ideas that will reshape business and drive success for the SAP program which will impact the entire organization. This position has the highest level of exposure with our client's executive leadership with the potential for unlimited growth and opportunity within a fortune 500 company.
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Create, maintain, and enforce audit policies, controls and procedures;
- Oversee regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks;
- Oversee the role change process, reviewing and approving changes to SAP roles;
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements, including SOX and other relevant regulations;
- Prepare and present security reports to management and stakeholders;
- Manage all SAP Security Analysts, including employees and contract resources;
- Analyze resource needs and skill sets to sustain established SAP Security Standards;
- Develop plans to ensure the team has the ability and skills to support existing and future projects and activities;
- Manage ongoing contract relationships, staffing, metrics reviews, and invoice reconciliation processes with contracted resources;
- Plan and coordinate the work of the team to support project teams alongside production environments, including recurring deliverables, audits, and after-hours support;
- Manage SAP security projects, including system upgrades, new functionality, patching, and new implementations;
- Work with project teams to integrate security measures into new SAP applications and modules;
- Serve as the internal escalation point for technical issues and problems with the SAP landscape related to application security support;
- Collaborate with other IT teams to manage the SAP infrastructure, ensuring performance and uptime expected by business stakeholders;
- Drive effective decision-making within the team, including communication of decisions to appropriate partners and maintaining vendor relationships;
Top skills you need to have: - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree, preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience coordinating/overseeing activities in an SAP Security environment that includes: ECC, CRM, EM, BW, S/4 HANA
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Security administration
- Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and executing projects that include security operations
- Minimum 3 years of experience communicating technical and business issues/solutions to all levels of management
- Minimum 3 years of process improvement experience for operational support systems
- Solid understanding of managing hybrid integration solutions (Cloud/On-Premise) is helpful.
- Solid understanding of change management enablement via SAP Solution Manager/CHARM is helpful.
- Proficiency in English required.
