Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Clerk, Accounts Payable for a Contract job with a client in Sun Valley , CA . Responsibilities include processing manual payments in Oracle, reviewing invoices for accuracy, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely submission and payment.
Rate Range: $20/hour to $23/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Clerk, Accounts Payable job responsibilities include:

  • Process and enter manual payment requests into Oracle, verifying vendor information and coding.
  • Follow up with approvers to ensure timely responses and confirm payment details.
  • Track specific payments on the Franchise Fee log and follow up with accountants on missing requests.
  • Review pending invoices in the Coupa system for accuracy, including vendor details, amounts, and coding.
  • Identify and reject duplicate invoices, working with relevant areas to adjust POs where necessary.
  • Follow up with requestors and managers to approve or create receipts to prevent late payments.
  • Assist vendors in submitting invoices, ensuring they follow the correct submission process and provide necessary details.
  • Work with Corporate Payables to locate invoices submitted directly by vendors not uploaded to Coupa.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to obtain approval for new supplier requests.
  • Connect vendors with the Supplier Support team for assistance with forms or portal access.
  • Track vendor submissions on a local vendor log, generating new forms when needed due to inactivity.
  • Assist with month-end close tasks, including reviewing system invoices for accrual needs and preparing reclasses/accruals.
  • Perform monthly Use Tax review and submission as part of the month-end closing process.
Desired Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or specialized training preferred.
  • 0-4 years of previous experience in accounts payable or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (preferably Oracle and Coupa) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
