Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Specialty: CT Technologist
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Nights, Tuesday to Thursday, 5 PM to 5 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Must have WA License
Certifications: ARRT, BLS
Must-Have: Ability to work independently during graveyard shifts, experience with Toshiba 64 Slice CT Scanner and Carestream X-ray room, competence in starting IVs when necessary
Job Description:
- Perform CT scans including with and without contrast for head, spine, abdomen, pelvis, CTA PE, runoff, and extremities.
- Conduct general X-ray imaging, including chest, PICC line placement, tube placement, trauma, and fracture extremities.
- Support the department by handling approximately 2-6 CT scans and 1-4 X-ray scans per night.
- Use EPIC and McKesson PACS for EMR and imaging communications.
- Assist with X-ray duties as needed.
- Work under the supervision of the Radiology Manager and CT Lead.
- Maintain readiness to start IVs if required during the shift.
- Undergo EPIC training and department-specific orientation for one week onsite.
- Comply with dress code by wearing scrubs of choice.
