Brooksource is looking for a Data Analyst III for our Fortune 100 Telecommunications client in the Charlotte, NC area. The Data Analyst will join the Next Best Action (NBA) team within the Digital Transformation group. This team designs solutions which directly solve customer service issues and positively impact the customer experience through data driven Next Best Actions and personalized treatment.

This role will be 50% data analysis, 30% requirements elicitation and documentation, 20% work in excel, powerpoint, data visualization and story telling.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 5-10 years of Data Analysis experience
• Proficient in SQL
• Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
• Experience with Data Visualization Tools (MicroStrategy/Tableau)
• experience with relational databases
• Strong Critical Thinking, Analytical and Organizational skills
• Proficient in requirements Elicitation

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs data collection, analysis, validation and reporting.
• Designs, tests, and documents processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
• Extracts and analyzes data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites.
• Responds to data inquiries from various groups within an organization.
• Creates and publishes regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports.
• Documents reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required.
