Department: Trading Operations


Reports To: Trading Operations Manager


Job Summary: We are working with a well known firm, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade Support Analyst to join their dynamic trading operations team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in trade support, with a strong understanding of financial markets, trading systems, and operational processes. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Trade Monitoring and Support:

  • Monitor and support trading activities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and foreign exchange.
  • Ensure all trades are accurately captured, processed, and settled in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies and issues in collaboration with traders, brokers, and other stakeholders.

System Management:

  • Maintain and enhance trading systems and platforms to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Coordinate with IT and development teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and new functionalities.
  • Conduct regular system testing and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Operational Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with trade processing and settlement.
  • Develop and implement controls and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external clients regarding trade-related inquiries and issues.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to clients, brokers, and counterparties.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate smooth trading operations.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate and analyze trade reports, metrics, and performance indicators.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve trading processes and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management and regulatory purposes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in trade support or a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, trading systems, and operational processes.
  • Proficiency in trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) and order management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SQL, VBA, or other programming languages.
  • Familiarity with risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools.
