Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Opening new files and making the initial client contact and continuing contact with clients on a regular basis.
  • Fully investigating each case by gathering and analyzing intake information and relevant documents.
  • Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, and maintain contact with insurance company.
  • Manage client's medical care keeping in constant communication with client's and medical providers. Schedule and calendar medical appointments, explain procedures and related documentation to clients, and review medical records.
  • Entering pertinent information into our database
  • Continuously monitor case status, review medical records
  • Organizing and maintaining case files, preparing files to be submitted to demand writers
  • Maintain clients’ records by reviewing case notes, logging events, and monitoring progress.
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Help prepare demand packages.
  • Collect all possible information, evidence and documentation that will help the legal department build a case
  • Sort and read through medical records, insurance correspondence, and settlement releases on behalf of clients
  • Manage a caseload of 80+ files
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management and/or Team Leaders
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly and yearly goals


Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years’ experience in similar roles.
