Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced associate to join our team in the commercial litigation industry. The role is located in Littleton, Colorado. The Associate will be responsible for managing a diverse range of business, real estate, and construction disputes. The Associate will also need to handle an independent case load and collaborate effectively within a team environment.


Responsibilities:


• Lead commercial litigation cases, focusing on construction, real estate, and business disputes.

• Manage an independent case load while working within a team environment.

• Utilize solid interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

• Apply knowledge in Construction Law, Litigation, Construction Defect, Commercial Real Estate Law, and Business & Commercial Law.

• Handle all phases of the litigation process including various stages of discovery and motions’ practice.

• Take the lead role in trials, utilizing first chair trial experience.

• Maintain licensure in Colorado.

• Ensure all legal actions adhere to Colorado state regulations.



Must hold a minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience in a relevant field.

• Demonstrated proficiency in communication, both written and verbal.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of Construction Law is required.

• Prior experience in Litigation is a necessity.

• Must have experience in dealing with Construction Defect issues.

• Experience in Commercial Real Estate and Real Estate Law is required.

• Knowledge and understanding of Business & Commercial Law is essential.

• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

• Should be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
