We are looking for a Research Scientist to join our Digital Printing, Writing Systems team onsite in Dayton, OH.
The Dayton-based inkjet R&D team is responsible for developing the next generation of commercial inkjet technology. This role will be integral in conducting fundamental inkjet research.
Responsibilities:
•Understanding and advancing the core technology of continuous inkjet printing, fluid dynamics, jetting drop formation, etc.
•Analytical modeling of the technology and correlating to lab data
•Understanding and developing solutions for fundamental problems in extending the use of the technology into new applications or new operating regimes
Required Skills/Experience:
•PhD in Physics or Mechanical Engineering related field
•Research focus in fluid mechanics, microfluidics, drop formation, coatings, electric charging, electrostatics, or electrochemistry
•Prior inkjet experience desired
This is an onsite position in Dayton, Ohio. Annual salary range is dependent on experience.
