The Implementation Specialist is a senior level technician who provides technical direction to the Deployment team in accordance to the company's deployment practices and guidelines. Implementation Specialists develop technical expertise and provides trouble shooting support and technical guidance of escalated issues. Works on problems of diverse scope where problems and solutions may come from a variety of factors and demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. • Advanced expertise with physical network hardware installation, power and cabling standards
- 5+ years of Low Voltage Technician experience.
- 5 years of experience installing copper and fiber optic structured cabling systems.
- Installing, servicing, and integrating a variety of low voltage systems including fiber optic, copper, cabling, Intrusion Alarms, Video Surveillance, Card Access, Telephone Systems, Data Networks, and more.
- • Work is typically completed either physically on-site at a customer location or remotely via Computacenter approved systems
- Strong Fusion Splicing experience.
- • Experience with analyzing technical environments, documentation and report writing
- • Presenting technical solutions to customers
- • Working as an individual resource to a customer, managing time effectively in designing and implementing
- technical solutions
- • Working as part of a project team under the direction of a Computacenter Project Manager
- • Managing the implementation phase of a complex integration project as a team leader of consultants, on site
- vendors, specialists or engineers
- • Manage the implementation of agreed design, ensuring successful project completion & customer satisfaction
- • Delivery of quality solutions within agreed milestone timelines
- • Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent

- •Perform deployment work as necessary as a working lead.
- •Work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays, as required, to meet customer commitments.
- •Following accepted safety practices for working with computer equipment.
- •May require routinely lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 70 pounds.
- •Position requires bending, stooping, kneeling and crouching when installing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware, peripheral equipment and software.
- •Must have reliable transportation to be on-time for their shift.
- •Must be able to travel extensively
- Preferred:
- BICSI certification
- OSHA certification
- Certifications and/or formal training in any of the above listed items is BIG plus
