Mechanical Drafter - As-Built

Position Description:

The Mechanical drafter position will assist the Lead Plant Designer with as-built projects and other duties as assigned

Duties and Responsibilities to include the following :

• Managing multiple redline request.
• Managing drawings within our document management system.
• Completing as-built projects.
• Complete field requests and assist pulling drawings for projects.
• Managing multiple 3D model sets.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements and Skills :

• A minimum of Three - Five years (3 to 5 yrs.) experience in plant / process piping is required.
• Knowledge of P&ID symbols and terminology a must.
• Associates degree or related experience.
• Knowledge of a Meridian Document Management System a plus.
• Knowledge and experience using Windows operating systems.
• Experience with CADWorx Plant Professional modeling software a must.
• Experience managing and building 3D model sets a must.
• Must have good communication skills, written & verbal, work with minimal supervision, and simultaneously manage multiple projects to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to prioritize work.
• Previous experience in the natural gas transmission industry is preferred.
• Must be Punctual and Dependable with the ability to listen and learn.
