Outpatient Imaging Center - 4 x 10's Monday - Friday NO Weekends or on call!!


Job Summary:

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist operates computerized tomography equipment to produce detailed images of various portions of the human body for patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role requires technical proficiency, strong interpersonal skills, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT equipment to acquire high-quality images of designated body parts as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform scans on neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Administer intravenous contrast when required and ensure accurate placement of intravenous catheters.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy to effectively capture and analyze images.
  • Communicate tactfully and effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and other healthcare personnel.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  2. Registration as a CT Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), or eligibility for registration.
  • Registry-eligible candidates must obtain CT registration within 6 months of the start date.
  1. Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
  2. Ability to insert intravenous catheters.
  3. Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association. (Assistance with certification available upon hire.)
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact pleasantly with diverse patient populations and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Prior training or experience in Computed Tomography (CT) scanning.
