Are you an experienced Night Shift Distribution Operations Manager looking for your next adventure?!

Flextek Resources has partnered with a Global Logistics Company located in Humble, TX area that has an immediate need for a Night Shift Distribution Operations Manager.

This is a direct hire position open due to a recent increase in business activities!!!


Need to be flexible on hours for operational needs. This is a 24/7/365 operation.

This is a night shift opportunity; the hours will be between 1030pm and 7am.

Also, looking for someone that is strong in continuous process improvement and exceptional training and development skills.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee all warehouse logistics and operations
  • Team up with the Ramp Managers in order to meet operational needs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, safety, and quality to meet/exceed standards
  • Confirm proper and on time delivery so there are no delays; be proactive
  • Mange warehouse inventory and preserve machinery and equipment is serviced
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse floor for process flow and efficiency
  • Conduct any audits that are requested and required to ensure compliance
  • Motivate, lead, coach, and manage warehouse staff to effectively carry out tasks
  • Support efforts in employee retention, evaluation, and training - heavy employee relations
  • Incident/accident reporting including root cause analysis
  • Maintain employee schedules - follow up via phone and email if needed


Qualifications:

  • Experience with driving safety initiatives, monitoring
  • Working in operational planning and resources allocation preferred
  • Complete all training requirements and maintain certifications, successfully
  • Write reports and correspondence and communicate professionally and effectively
  • Must maintain a high attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Google Sheets, and Docs
