The Salesforce Product Owner will work on the scoping and delivery of OTR Solutions projects supporting Sales, Marketing and Underwriting departments utilizing Salesforce and responsible for client facing onboarding applications supporting a modern, streamlined onboarding process. They will also work heavily with members of the business, Director of Product and other team members to determine priorities, develop an ongoing roadmap, scope and design solutions while establishing delivery timelines. Responsibilities:

  • Ability to create visual representation of business processes and maintain documentation on Confluence
  • Refine customer and product requirements and assign them to product features to drive all product development
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams
  • Control excessive proliferation of product or feature variants
  • Ensure cross-functional understanding of product features
  • Plan tests to validate features for successfully fulfilling requirements
  • Host end-user demos for business stakeholders
  • Execute and monitor changes with impact analysis to ensure customer needs are met
  • Create an engineering configuration and corresponding Project Requirement Document (PRD) for review, simulation, and validation
  • Reduce product development duration, cost and risk by reusing proven and standardized product features
  • Collaborate with other product owners and sales leadership to ensure distribution of essential sales, marketing data and CRM needs
  • Proactively seek out and identify needed system changes including new releases of SFDC and efficiently roll out new features. Manage system changes without interruption to the user and Communicate system changes to the users
  • Managing the implementation of Salesforce which would include issues, risks, timelines, design implications and technology dependencies
  • Engages and consults with functional teams reliant on Salesforce when launching platform enhancements and features


What we look for:

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Working experience in design, development, and implementation of product plans
  • Working experience in full product lifecycle methodologies (5 years)
  • Working experience in creating, prioritizing, and recommending epics and features
  • Working experience in in conducting competitive research and analysis
  • Working experience in identifying KPI's, OKRs and other analytics to measure product value
  • Working experience with executive presentations
  • Working experience in a collaborative, cross-functional, and complex team environment
  • Advanced time management skills including ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects
  • Salesforce experience is a must, Salesforce Administrator certification is preferable
  • Application Development background experience is strongly preferred
