Instrumentation Designer- Mid Level Position
Direct Position located in SW Houston Engineering Center
Excellent opportunity to support ongoing Instrumentation Design support working under direction of Senior/Lead Designers & Engineers.
Instrument Designer needed to join the CDI Team located in SW Houston. Direct position offering competitive pay, benefits, hybrid work schedule and more! Seeking candidates experienced with developing instrument design packages for all phases (FEL2, FEL3 and DD) field verifying drawings, drawing reviews, working directly with the client and checking drawing packages for other leads.
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently with very little need for supervision.
Experienced with Auto Cad.
Needs to have strong knowledge of field instrumentation.
8-15 years of experience as an Instrument Designer.
Experience with Honeywell, DeltaV, Triconex, DeltaV SIS, and able to run multiple projects at a time
Prior experience coordinating with HVEC.
Prior Filed experience (hands on field experience is a plus).
TWIC card required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing instrument design drawings.
Directing other designers.
Checking design packages.
Coordinating work with HVEC.
Developing scope with the client and project team.
Develop job proposals.
Participating in Field walks.
