The Company

We are working with a Long Term Care Pharmacy that services the greater phoenix areas Assisted Living Communities. They have a unique system that innovated on prescription management - single box packaging for patients! This unique approach eliminates the need for multiple, confusing bottles and helps reduce the risk of medication errors for residents, family, and staff.

The Role

You will lead and direct the pharmacy activities as well as set strategies for future business growth and financial stability!

• Manage a team of pharmacy techs and other pharmacists including meetings and 1 on 1s
• Establish goals for the pharmacy, including developing and implementing plans for growth initiatives, and monitor progress
• Track and advise the finances and budget of the pharmacy
• Oversee the pharmacy services including monitoring internal pharmacy processes and operations
• Consult with practitioners in the field to improve organization processes and patient outcomes
• Ensure ongoing pharmacy compliance with all laws and regulations and help to implement ‘best practices in pharmacy activities
• Ensure that all responsibilities of pharmacy operations are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform pharmacist duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Degree and AZ State Licensure.
• Current knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations
• Ability to work on site M- F in Scottsdale, AZ
• Can do attitude, exciting to help a small company grow
