Title: Product Engineer – Sustaining Engineering

Pay Rate: $70/hr.
Shift: Day
MON-FRI – core hours 7 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM – 5 PM with flexibility as either on-site or Remote
Contract term: 6 months period to start, with 3-month probationary period. Contract extension
available up to 1 year total with demonstrated success.
Location: aligned with ADM Product Engineering teams in Fulling Mill Road, PA & Rt. 230 Mt. Joy, PAs
Scope: PRODUCT COMPLIANCE SUPPORT ACTIVITIES
This role will create, support, analyze, and assist in product data creation for product environmental compliance status at the part number for >100,000 sustaining Aerospace, Defense and Marine connector systems products. The ideal Product Engineer candidate should be a fast learner, have experience with electrical connectors and related components, and aerospace related electrical wiring interface standards (EWIS) and components.
Expectations include firm understand of environmental compliance as it refers to components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies from an industrial company that manufactures such items from machining, plating, molding, sealing, and assembly operation.
These industry product environmental compliance requirements such as REACH, EU RoHS, TSCA, POP, and Prop 65 declarations: along with UL / CSA standards and qualified DLA/NAVAIR agency certifications. Excellent knowledge of Windchill, CREO, PDMLink, and other CAD / FAE tools will be necessary to complete the tasks assigned including analyzing 3D models, detailed 2D prints, and interrogating Engineering Bill of Materials on prints, PLM, and SAP.
This Product Engineer will work with local TE Staff and Senior Product Engineers as an assistant on a wide variety of targeted technical assignments related to product environmental compliance engineering activities and is accountable for completion of assigned engineering projects within project scheduling guidelines. They plan, prioritize, and manage multiple technical related projects and daily tasks in TECPN database, PDM vaults, PDMLink EC system, technical documentation creation, and TE Product Compliance Tracking database systems. Additionally, work collaboratively and closely with TE Project Managers and other technical project contract employees as required.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Engineering Degree or equivalent.
Must have 5+ Years of experience with technology based industrial operations of electrical and mechanical, with demonstrated success in sustaining product engineering with focus on environmental compliance & sustainability efforts.
Must pass TE Drug Screening and TE Background check requirements. TE provided PC + related
accessories provided to candidate for use during contract period
