Job Description Seeking a dedicated Contract Attorney to support an energy company with a focus on contract review, drafting, and some litigation. This role is contract-to-perm, offering full-time, long-term opportunities with a leading environmental and construction-focused energy organization. Ideal for a highly motivated individual with a solid foundation in transactional work. Key Responsibilities:Contract Review and Drafting (75%): Focus on reviewing, drafting, and managing contracts with minimal litigation work. True litigators may not find this role satisfying.Transactional Expertise: Work with contract templates to develop and adapt agreements, typically modifying rather than creating contracts from scratch.Industry Representation: Represent the organization's interests in environmental and construction-related contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Ideal Candidate Profile:Experience in contract law with a transactional focus.Ability to work a flexible schedule, adapting to the needs of a fast-paced environment.Mid-level experience preferred; overqualified candidates may not find the role suitable. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status. We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the California Fair Chance Act, City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance. For unincorporated Los Angeles county, to the extent our customers require a background check for certain positions, the Company faces a significant risk to its business operations and business reputation unless a review of criminal history is conducted for those specific job positions.
