ESSENTIAL DUTIESClean floors, vacuum, sweep, dust, mop, wash, strip, wax, buff and shampoo carpetsWash windows, walls, tables, dust furniture, fixtures and woodworkPerform some routine inspection of electrical, heating and ventilating equipmentFollow established health and safety procedures for using cleaning chemicalsStrip and make the bedsUse vacuum, mop and full bucket of water, and like equipment to cleanClean and stock bathrooms- wash tubs, shower walls, countertops, sinks and mirrorsClean and stock kitchens- clean refrigerator, stove, countertops, cupboards and put dishes awayCompliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirementsOther duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBasic knowledge and skills of routine housekeeping preferredAdhere to all safety policiesStay on task and organizedSafely meet or exceed housekeeping cleaning standardsSmile and greet guests in a consistent and friendly mannerMaintain a friendly, cooperative and productive work environmentEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of background checkInteract and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC's Service Excellence standardsThe base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees.
