Our physical therapy center in Palo Alto, CA is looking for a compassionate and driven licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide exceptional patient care experiences for the community in which they live and work. Our clinic offers a collaborative team environment amongst a beautiful open floor gym space. We have easy parking and access to the clinic We see a variety of outpatient diagnosis with specialized care in sports medicine, hand therapy and pelvic health services. 1:1 mentorship is available for all new grads and hours can be flexible. Responsibilities
n
n- n
Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
n n- n
Possesses training and education which allows him/her to assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment program.
n n- n
Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
n n- n
Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.

Qualifications
n
n- n
Must be a graduate from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
n n- n
State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
n n- n
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
n n
n
