We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.nnScope:nnCT Technologist responsibilities:nnPerform CT procedures in order to obtain desired imaging results according to physician’s specifications that includes, but is not limited to: transferring patients for examinations, ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, and assisting with the CT examination processnnBe responsible for appropriate operation of all CT Imaging and related equipment.nnAppropriately educate, position, immobilize and perform CT procedures.nnCoordinate CT examination to ensure timeliness, quality, and continuity of patient care.nnUnderstand and follow provider Imaging orders correctly.nnSubmit required images and related clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretation.nnAppropriately evaluate image qualitynnProvide open, accurate, and responsive communication to patients, coworkers, Radiologists, and leadership.nnAppropriately utilize, charge, and maintain department supplies.nnRequirements:nnARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) Upon Hire, RequirednnCertified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT), PreferrednnBasic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 60 days, RequirednnLicensure in state of practice as applicable, Upon Hire, RequirednnIV Competency within 90 Days, RequirednnFor caregivers hired in this role in the State of Colorado, a Fluoroscopy certification, PreferrednnSpecific facility-based certification may also be required for this role.
