To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!nnResponsibilitiesnnThe Heavy Truck Driver primarily transports, loads, unloads, stacks and stages ammunition, including rockets and ammunition residue.nnThis driver may load or unload truck with forklift or other material handling equipment.nnReviews paperwork and conducts inventory to ensure accuracy of load. Ensures loads are properly secured and the truck is properly placarded.nnConducts daily vehicle inspections to ensure it is safe to transport ammunition. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.nnQualificationsnnCommercial Driver’s License w/ Hazmat Endorsement.nn4+ years truck driving experience.nnAbility to obtain and maintain a CAC.nnAbility to receive a favorable T1 investigation determination upon hire.nnAbility to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.nnAbility to complete Ammunition Courses: AMMO 75, 112, 67, 45, 31, 63, 68, and 64.nnPhysical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, climbing, bending, squatting, and reaching.nnMust be willing to work in all types of weather.nnDesired Qualifications:nnKnowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures.nnU.S. Army 88M series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent.nnDOT accident-free record.nnDrug free work ethic, with random urinalysis support.nn2+ forklift experience.nnPhysical Demands:nnHeavy Truck Driver: Straight truck, over 4 tons, usually 10 wheels.nnWork environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, inclement weather conditions, and areas with chemical or biological agents.nnEmployee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas.
