Harris Regional Hospital, located in Sylva, NC is growing the Neonatology service line with the addition of a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP). Experienced candidates are preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered and reviewed as well.

Harris Regional Hospital is an 86-bed acute care hospital with multiple neonatal and pediatric support services including childbirth education classes and breastfeeding support with International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC). Pediatric physical and speech therapists perform feeding assessments, provide positioning and sensory input support, and are trained in treating ankyloglossia, cleft palate, and other feeding-inhibiting conditions. The Level II Nursery/NICU team includes respiratory therapists who have achieved the Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification.
The Level II Nursery is located inside the New Generations Family Birthing Center which underwent a $6 million renovation in 2018 and is located on the third floor of the hospital.
