What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree; Doctorate preferred
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Completed state-required continuing education credits
  • Valid CPR Certification
  • Familiarity with EMR software preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong clinical decision-making abilities

What You'll Do:
  • Assess and document patient care data per regulatory and reimbursement guidelines, including evaluations, daily notes, and communication with the healthcare team.
    1. This includes conducting initial evaluations, progress reports, discharge planning, and team collaboration.
  • Manage daily billing in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Prepare thoroughly for patient evaluations, ensuring a strong understanding of patient histories and diagnoses.
  • Select and administer appropriate tests and measures.
  • Synthesize evaluation results to create tailored diagnosis, goals, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and effectively communicate with patients and their support systems.
  • Identify when consultations or referrals to other healthcare professionals are necessary.
  • Design and implement individual treatment plans focusing on functional training and rehabilitation.
  • Provide safe and effective interventions aligned with JAG standards.
  • Oversee the support staff, including PT aides and assistants.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and community outreach, including promoting JAG in local events.
