Job Summary and Qualifications:
n

n- Champion PCMC's mission, vision and values; complies with the policies and procedures, ethical standards and code of conduct set forth by the company
n- Always verifies physician orders prior to completing examination.
n- After verifying the physician's orders, performs C.T. examinations according to the patient's physician.
n- Perform invasive procedures according to the established protocol allowing for any special instructions from the Radiologist or patient's physician.
n- Completes tube warm-ups as needed.
n- Assures that all “call result” exams are sent to Radiologist as soon as the exam is finished.
n- At the beginning and end of each shift assure that all supplies are stocked necessary to perform daily schedule.
n- Advises supervisor of supplies needed for ordering.
n- Always performs venipuncture according to established protocol.
n- Documents accurate patient information pertinent to the exam being performed.
n- Assures patient comfort and recognizes their needs and concerns during their encounter.
n- Performs accurate computer functions.
n- Reports any equipment malfunctions immediately.

Qualifications
n
n-
One year of CT experience preferred. Candidates DO NOT need to have acute care experience.
n-
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
n-
Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) registry preferred
n-
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
n-
Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School
