PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our growing team.nnThis is a night shift position, scheduled Friday through Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (0.9 FTE--three-12 hour shifts). Shift and weekend differential is available!nnIn this fulfilling role, you'll play a vital role in patient care:nnPerform all routine and specialized CT procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.nnOperate CT scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction and documentation of images, and perform quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.nnApply ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, patient, and visitor. Evaluate patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated.nnPerform interventional procedures applying knowledge of equipment, supplies, and AORN standards.nnProvide patient education and instruction prior to and after examination.
