About the Role:

Biron Robertson is seeking a motivated traveling Computed Tomography Technologist to join our client's team in Charlotte, NC. As a CT Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients, while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

n

This is a 13 week traveling position with our client. You will be a full-time employee of Biron Roberston and we will staff you at their medical center. It is likely that additional CT Tech positions will arise after this one is complete, so if you would like to be staffed at another facility upon completion of this position, we may be able to accommodate.

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Year Experience Traveler Experience: Unit Will Accept 1st Time Travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU GE & Siemens Scanner Use is a MUST Level II Trauma Unit CT Procedure Experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction Certs: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT)

SHIFT: Day 3x12-Hour (09:45 - 22:15)

JOB DETAILS: RATIOS: Daily Caseload: 150-200 Scans; 4 Rooms Unit will accept contracts from 13+ weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays! *36 Hours Can be Offered 12 HOUR MIDS; FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY 09:45 - 22:15 WEEKEND SCHEDULE: FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY This position is paid at an hourly rate There is an 8 hour orientation that is not billable

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: This is in the emergency department on a Siemen's scanner doing routine ED patients, also Code Stroke and level 2 trauma patients. VERY FAST PACED On first shift we typically have 4-5 techs. Second shift after 5pm there are typically 2-3 techs. Third shift there is 1 tech. Weekends we have 2 techs. Typical case load for one tech in an 8-hour shift is anywhere from 8-12 patients.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Siemens Scanner, GE. Our machines are Siemens, and we have the S3000 and the Sequoia.

UNIT SYSTEMS: EPIC, Visage

SCRUBS: Royal Blue
