Position Summary:
nWe have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a CT Technologist Trainee - Outpatient Radiology - Great Neck - Per Diem.

In this role, the successful candidate Observes and works directly with a CT technologist to assist in performing medically prescribed CT procedures of designated anatomical areas, under the general direction of the radiologist and supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:
n* Demonstrates knowledge of the HIS and RIS systems as they relate to radiologyn* Under direct supervision of a CT technologist, demonstrates skill in equipment set-up, utilization and proper maintenance proceduren* Under direct supervision of a CT technologist, assists in patent procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standardsn* Effectively assesses patient’s information and status, and works directly with a CT technologist to follow appropriate procedures accordinglyn* Performs other duties as assignednn
Minimum Qualifications:
nTo qualify you must have a Obtaining an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences.

Preferred Licenses: Radiologic TechLic IV-Cert-NYS
