Employment Type:nnFull timennShift:nnDescription:nnAbout the UnitnnMount Carmel Dublin’s inpatient unit supports a mixture of post-surgical patients along with a wide array of medical diagnoses including those requiring ICU level of care. The unit will function as an accountable care unit where the PT, OT, and speech therapy colleagues partner with the multidisciplinary team to collectively round on patients to deliver an optimal care experience. Our rehab colleagues will be the functional mobility experts and lead the patient care team on safe patient handling techniques and progression towards the patient’s functional goals. Our approach empowers the patient and family to actively participate in the care discussion and decision-making process as care plans are adjusted, barriers addressed, post-acute resources aligned, and concerns resolved. While construction is underway, the majority of training will take place at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s located at 500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. We are expecting Mount Carmel Dublin to open Spring of 2025.nnPosition Purpose:nnThe Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treats patients referred for physical therapy by a physician. In addition, the Physical Therapist communicates and collaborates with other caregivers to provide quality care and maintains accurate patient records.nnTuition benefits for certain post- graduate programs and continuing education.nnWhat You Will Do:nnPerforms physical therapy evaluation, establishes, and implements treatment plan for patients referred by a physician and assigned by the clinical coordinator or manager.
