In the role of Physical Therapist Assistant you will:nnProvide care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education and training in activities in daily living under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.nnUtilize rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient.nnParticipate in professional responsibilities, including documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills.nnQualifications:nnIn addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:nnPrevious work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit, preferrednnAbility to perform basic treatments of orthopedic, neurological and medical patientsnnPrior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferrednnAssociates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programnnCurrent Colorado Physical Therapist Assistant licensurennCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart AssociationnnPhysical Requirements: Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)nnThis is a FT outpatient PTA.
