Physical Therapist (Acute Care)nnAtrium Medical CenternnStatus: Full-Time, 40 hours per weeknnShift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMnnPosition Overview:nnAs a Physical Therapist at Atrium Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating patients with orthopedic, neurological, and work-related impairments. This position involves providing one-on-one or group physical therapy treatments, monitoring patient progress, and reporting findings.nnKey Responsibilities:nnPerform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.nnDeliver direct physical therapy care, either individually or in groups.nnMonitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.nnProvide education and guidance to patients and their families.nnMaintain access to the Medication Room as part of the treatment process.nnComplete all necessary documentation in a timely manner.nnParticipate in staff and cost management activities, contributing to departmental effectiveness.nnUphold professional practice standards, maintain licensure/certification, and meet continuing education requirements.nnDemonstrate exceptional customer service in all interactions.nnQualifications:nnEducation: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited PT program.nnLicensure: Current Physical Therapy license in the State of Ohio. Maintains CEUs for licensure renewal.nnCertification: Current BLS certification.nnExperience: May be a recent graduate with a generalist background; however, a minimum of one year of experience is preferred.nnSkills/Other: Demonstrates knowledge and skill in providing age-specific care. Possesses team-focused attributes.
