The therapist will identify any problems with balance, gait (how you walk), neck motion and visual stability, as well as examine other potential problem areas. When you join our team, you will be part of a supportive caregiver family that will be united in shared values and purpose to fulfill our promise of being the best place to receive care and the best place to work in healthcare.nnThis is a part time, health benefit eligible position working 24-26 hours/week (two 8 hour days - Monday & Friday and two 5 hour days - Tuesday & Thursday OR 3 8 hour days).nnA caregiver who excels in this role, will:nnEvaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.nnPerform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.nnEstablish, revise and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.nnPerform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.nnSupervise activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.nnMinimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:nnBachelor's Degree or certificate required.nnMust be a graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.nnCurrent State licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).nnCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.nnPreferred qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:nnExperience in vestibular is highly preferred.nnOur caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
