Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient

Compensation: Hourly rate $25-$35/hr based on your experience.

We are seeking an experienced PRN physical therapist assistant (PTA) to help on an as-needed basis. While our centers typically operate Monday through Friday, our flexible scheduling lets you craft a schedule that's suited to your unique lifestyle!

Unique Location/Job Details: Unique: Covering our outpatient centers in Philadelphia. We see a diverse orthopedic patient mix included vestibular and post concussion. Per Diem therapists are eligible for our Continuing Education Program which offers over 300 APTA accredited course free to you each year.

Responsibilities
n
n - Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
n - Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
n - Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications
n
n - College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
n - Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
n - Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
n - CPR certification
