Our care portfolio includes community hospitals, academic hospitals, primary and specialty care clinics, senior facilities, facilitated living centers, rehabilitation centers, home health care services, counseling, pharmacies, and benefit management services.nnApply today to join our 34,000+ employees and 5,000+ system providers working to build lasting relationships with the people we serve: our patients, our communities, and each other. * *nnResponsibilities Job DescriptionnnAs an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, you will be responsible for:nnMaintaining patient care and participating in creating a culture of patient safetynnCommunicating with and educating thepatientregarding pertinent information during all aspects of the procedure.nnCorrectly operating equipment according to accepted standards and guidelineswhileidentifying and responding to equipment problems to ensure equipment is working properly.nnApplies established standards of aseptic technique during patient preparation, draping and set up for all procedures.nnEnsuring patient data integrity, performing examinations, identifies relevant data from images accurately, and communicating pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional.nnDuring invasive procedures - must be able to achieve and maintain homeostasis manually or with mechanical device of physician choice when required.nnAssisting the radiologist with required catheter and wire manipulation while maintaining the required sterile technique.nnDemonstrating the ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.nnQualificationsnnRequired Qualifications:nnEducationnnVocational/ Technical training or Associate Degree in Diagnostic Imaging or relatednnLicense/Certification/RegistrationnnAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) RegisterednnPreferred Qualifications:nnExperiencenn1 year experience as an Interventional technologistnnLicense/Certification/RegistrationnnARRT IR certification or successful completion within 18 months of hire.nnEEO StatementnnEEO/AA Employer/Vet/Disabled: All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to any lawfully protected status
