Overview
A Physical Therapist evaluates, establishes, and implements treatment programs for patients of all ages referred by a physician. Supervises the staff physical therapist assistant (PTA) in the delivery of patient care. Supervises physical therapist assistants and ancillary staff with department activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education
1. Graduate from an accredited curriculum in Physical Therapy
B. Experience
1. Experience in the physical therapy profession as normally acquired through academic experience, clinical affiliations, and/or previous work experience in the field if required. Candidate must also demonstrate competence in the care of populations served which may include neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
C. Licensure
1. Must be a licensed Physical Therapist by the state of Georgia
