These studies include imaging of the thyroid, heart, lung, bone, live and kidney, as well as tumors, infection and other problems. Nuclear Medicine techniques also help to diagnose and treat patients for hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer, and palliation of bone pain.nnAs the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will help to ensure that the Imaging Services at Straub provide quality diagnostic services and care for patients and their families, specifically by performing nuclear medicine procedures.
