The Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining and managing customer and item catalog data for FUJIFILM Sonosite and VisualSonics.nnEssential Job Functions:nnManage the creation and updates of the master customer data.nnCreate the link between customer data in various systems and organize customers into the proper hierarchies.nnCross reference multiple systems and sources to validate customer account information, and merge or eliminate duplicates as necessary.nnWork with all relevant parties to determine appropriate item categories for all part numbers.nnManage the status of all items and define what each status means.nnLead initiatives to support data integrity and normalization.nnWork across multiple departments to determine the correct data structures.nnDocument data processes, rules and how various fields are utilized.nnKnowledge/Experience:nnKnowledge of computer system applications: Microsoft Office (E-mail, Excel and Word), Oracle ERP, Salesforce.com.nnExperience with master data management and data tools preferred.nnVery strong attention to detail, with a passion for accuracy; data must be precise.nnStrong problem-solving skillsnnSkills/Abilities:nnAdvanced Excel skillsnnAbility to work with large sets of data from 1000 to 100,000 recordsnnKeen eye to spot discrepanciesnnOutstanding organizational skillsnnProficient in Word and Power PointnnAbility to make decisions based on guidance providednnAbility to lift a minimum of 25lbs with or without accommodationsnnEqual Employment Opportunity EmployernnFUJIFILM Sonosite is an equal opportunity employer.
