But together, we're getting closer.nnRequired Skills:nnGraphics Software Engineer, Rendering - Reality Labs Responsibilities:nnDevelop innovative graphics frameworks, algorithms, and tools to maximize graphics quality and performancennPartner closely with various infra and product teams across Meta, on camera, graphics, upcoming hardware, media enhancements, and more to create real-time rendering architecturennBuilding tools and pipelines for generating very realistic synthetic imagesnnEnable high fidelity experiences through remote compute solutions on smaller devices with limited batterynnBuilding rendering subsystems for platforms such as Spark AR and HorizonnnBuild a platform for cloud streamed gamesnnDocument and support graphics featuresnnWrite high-quality, performant, and maintainable codennCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovation into AR/VR productsnnMinimum Qualifications:nnMinimum Qualifications:nnBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.nn6+ years of graphics software engineering experience or 2+ years of graphics software engineering experience with PhDnn6+ years of experience with C/C++ programmingnn6+ years of object-oriented and component-based design experiencennProblem-solving and communication skillsnnPreferred Qualifications:nnPreferred Qualifications:nnExperience delivering AAA Games, working on Graphics subsystems or the Game Engine AR/VR experiencennKnowledge of ray tracing, rasterization and linear algebrannExperience with low level performance profiling and optimizationnnExperience implementing 3D graphics features such as lighting, effects, shaders and other low-level systemsnnExperience with tools such as Maya, Houdini, Blender, 3Ds Max, Arnold, RenderMan, or CyclesnnExperience with either DirectX/Vulkan/OpenGL/MetalnnPublic Compensation:nn$85.10/hour to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefitsnnIndustry: InternetnnEqual Opportunity:nnMeta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
