Experts of operations, process and efficiency, this team is responsible for being proficient in all areas of the store to complete duties such as, but not limited to, cashiering, stocking, presentation and price accuracy. The role of a Small Format Team Leader can provide you with the skills and experience of:nnGuest service fundamentals and experience building a guest first culture across the storennRetail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategiesnnPlanning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goalsnnProcess improvements and workload efficiencynnLeading a team of hourly team members including: skills in interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating and retaining talentnnAs a Small Format Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:nnUnderstand sales goals, plan daily/weekly workload with guidance from leader, and execute the same to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including: planning merchandising, pricing workload, transitions, revisions, sales plans and promotionsnnDemonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience. Model, train and coach team members’ expectations to deliver the service standard.nnEnable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock, available, accurately priced and signed on the sales floornnBe an expert of operations, accuracy, process and efficiencynnWith guidance from leader, execute inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for your assigned department(s)nnWith guidance from leader, help create a scheduling plan based off of monthly and weekly business workload and guest trafficnnWork a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs (this includes early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekends)nnWith guidance from your leader, help lead team members in your department(s) in the backroom and sales floor areas, review all reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve in accordance to your leader’s direction.nnEnable efficient delivery to our guests by leading pick, pack and ship fulfillment work, as applicable for your locationnnEnable team members to stay up-to-date on relevant trends and productsnnEvaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric teamnnParticipate in team onboarding and learningnnWith guidance from leader, close knowledge and skill gaps through training and experiencesnnWith guidance from leader, establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable to expectationsnnDemonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing biasnnAlways demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; lead and hold the team accountable to work in the same waynnLead and create a safety advocacy culture by understanding how safety impacts your role and that of your team, identifying and correcting hazards, and holding team accountable to working in a safe manner to benefit themselves and others.nnLead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning; help close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactionsnnAs a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processesnnAddress store needs (emergency, regulatory visits, etc.)nnSupport guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage lawsnnAll other duties based on business needsnnWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORnnWe might be a great match if:nnWorking in a fun and energetic environment makes you excited….
