The ideal candidate will be responsible for our IT operations strategy, including managing servers, networking, database administration, IT Service Management (ITSM), cloud services, backup and disaster recovery, monitoring and reporting, security and regulatory compliance. This role will ensure reliability, security and efficiency of our IT systems while leading a team of IT professionals to deliver exceptional service to the organization.nnThis role is located in Erie, PA or Cary, NC with a work schedule of 4 days in the office with 1 day work from home.nnScope/Supervision and Interaction:nnHas Direct ReportsnnWorks with Division staff and other Corporate IT staff under the direction and guidance of Enterprise management. Supervises project leader and technical analysts. Maintains operational relationships with vendors and Parker locations.nnEssential Functions:nnInfrastructure Management:nnOversee the management, maintenance, and lifecycle of servers, networking equipment, and other IT infrastructure components.nnDevelop and execute strategy for database management system maintenance, performance and simplification roadmap.nnEnsure high availability and performance of all IT services and systems.nnEstablish project management best practices and ensure processes are followed and improved.nnCloud Services:nnManage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services strategy, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.nnCollaborate with teams to implement cloud solutions that meet business needs and maintain compliance.nnIT Service Management ITSM):nnImplement and manage ITSM processes to enhance service delivery and support.nnEnsure effective incident, problem and change management practices are in place.nnCreate an environment of continuous improvement.nnBackup Disaster Recovery:nnDevelop, implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect organizational data.nnRegularly test and update disaster recovery plans to ensure readiness.nnExecute annual disaster recovery plans to ensure readiness.nnEnsure recoverability from disasters and potential cyber-attacks.nnMonitoring and Reporting:nnEstablish monitoring systems to proactively identify and resolve issues within IT infrastructure.nnGenerate and present regular reports on systems performance, uptime, and incidents to stakeholders.nnSecurity and Compliance:nnImplement and maintain industry best practices security measure to protect IT assets and sensitive data.nnEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as SOX, CMMC, or ISO27001.nnTeam Leadership:nnDevelop and implement a strategy and roadmap for simplification, standardization, automation and leveraging emerging technologies.nnLead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.nnCollaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.nnBudget Management:nnAssist in the development and management of the IT operations budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.nnDevelop and communicate spending forecasts and ensure timely execution of planned purchases.nnQualifications:nnBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, APM, CSM, PMP, CISSP) is a plus.nn8+ years' experience in IT operations, infrastructure management or a related field.nnStrong knowledge of server and network administration, virtualization and cloud technologies (e.g. VMWare, Azure, HCI, Cisco).nnFamiliarity with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow) and monitoring solutions.nnExperience with Agile Methodology and Tools (e.g. Asure DevOps).nnUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements.nnStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.nnProfessionalism: Excellence, timeliness and completeness of work, responsible and team attitude.nnManagerial skills: Supervision and coaching, customer service, planning, organization, oral/written communication.nnTravel Requirement:nnTeam is primarily distributed between Cary, NC and Erie, PA.
