Job Description
Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced office setting where the phones ring a lot and there is a lot of traffic? Do you have experience with reconciliations, filing, data entry and invoice/purchase order matching? We would like to talk with you!
A client of ours is needing an accounting assistant on a temp to hire (if a good fit) basis. This position is full-time but can be very flexible if you need that! Here's what your day will look like:
  • Answering phones and taking messages for internal staff
  • Processing Bank Reconciliations and Statements
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Breaking down invoices for job costing
  • Pulling files for audit purposes
  • Misc. duties the Office Manager needs assistance with

Experience Required:
  • Previous office experience is required
  • Above average computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Programs (particularly Outlook and Excel) - will require testing for these programs
  • Very good communication skills - ability to take good messages and communicate with the staff
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that can be stressful at times
