Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.nnJOB SUMMARY:nnThe Ecommerce Specialist will be responsible for hands-on-listing to expand our online merchandise, as well as optimizing content for increased visibility and sales.nnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:nnCreate and optimize product listings on our ecommerce platform.nnUtilize best practices for title, description, images, and other relevant content to enhance visibility and conversion rates.nnStrategically identify opportunities to increase the quantity of merchandise available online.nnRegularly analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.nnUse data-driven insights to optimize product listings and recommend new product additions.nnSelect high-value merchandise located at the Center/Store for sale on the online platform.nnPhotograph and present merchandise in a visually appealing and informative manner.nnContinuously assess and improve the online shopping experience to enhance customer satisfaction.nnMeet daily posting quotas and weekly and monthly sales targets determined by the Supervisor.nnDemonstrate efficiency, accuracy, and high productivity through effective workload management.nnDisplay an eagerness to acquire new skills and grow within the organization.nnActively partner with the District Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and team members in the day-to-day operation of the ecommerce business.nnQUALIFICATIONS:nnHigh School Diploma or equivalent.nnExcellent verbal and written communication skills of the English language.nnExcellent computer and technology skills, with a focus on Windows Operating Systems (10 or higher) and all Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, etc.).nnKnowledge of online selling platforms and proficiency in Photoshop is preferred.nnStrong analytical skills and proficiency in using analytic tools.nnFamiliarity with SEO best practices.nnAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment.nnAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.nnAbility to work under pressure and multitask.nnAbility to type at least 40 words per minute.nnExperience in identifying high-quality and designer brand merchandise.nnMust have 2-4 years of customer service and/or retail experience.nnPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:nnAbility to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.nnAbility to grasp, push, pull, and move heavy objects such as household and office furniture, packages, and all other bulk items.nnAbility to lift or move up to 50 lbs.nnAbility to perform various repetitive motion tasks.nnSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close vison requirements due to extensive computer work.nnEMPLOYEE BENEFITS OFFEREDnnOpportunity for career growthnnPaid time offnnEmployee Stores DiscountsnnGreat Work Perks Discounts (Amusement Parks, Museums, Services and more!)nnEmployee Referral BonusesnnMedical, Dental, and VisionnnHealth and fitness Fitbit DevisennRetirement PlannnLegal Advice MetLifennPet InsurancennAFLACnnEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)nnThe Salvation Army will comply with all governmental orders and any contractual obligations relative to COVID-19 safety measures, including mandatory vaccination of staff, if required.
