Job Description
Payroll and Benefits Administrator
Our well-established client has an immediate need for a Payroll and Benefits Administrator.
This role requires someone that has experience with Payroll Processing as well as experience working with Human Resources on Benefits Administration.
Payroll:
 
  • Process Payroll: Process payroll for 100+ employees using Paycom and importing file from Paycom into general ledger software, SAGE Intacct.
  • Benefits Cost Management: Analyzing and managing the costs associated with employee benefits, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and reporting on benefit program performance.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Working with the finance department, particularly the Budget Analyst, to incorporate payroll and benefits costs into the company’s financial budget and forecasts within Sage Intacct Planning.
  • Process Documentation: Develop clear and well-documented procedures for payroll data integration and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and consistent information flow as the Finance Director requires.

Human Resources:
 
  • Benefits Administration: This involves managing all aspects of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. It also requires enrollment, eligibility verification, communication, and vendor management.
  • Employee Relations: Addressing employee inquiries and concerns about payroll and benefits, maintaining positive relationships with the workforce.
  • Policy Implementation: Implementing policies and procedures related to payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements:
  • Eight or more years of Payroll Processing experience that includes importing payroll information from outside payroll company, into corporate accounting software.
  • Benefits administration experience including open enrollment, and employee relations experience required.
  • Software: SAGE Intacct a plus, Paycom, ADP or similar third-party payroll provider.

Our client offers a salary up to $80k plus M/D/V/401k/ generous PTO.
