Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Newark, DE. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:

• Work with IT and the Business and tech partners to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives
• Responsible for combining business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Serve as a servant leader and the ultimate facilitator between Business/dev. partners and IT in truly understanding the needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of a project through the entire project lifecycle
• Guide the team to be self-organized
• Remove impediments and guide the team to resolve issues or escalate to leadership as needed Use proven methods and tools
• Lead the planning, elicit, analyze, validate and manage requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, test case design, and implementation planning & support - in partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups
• Enforce best practices for team including change management quality for the development team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 4-year experience in related field
• 7+ years' experience in a technical product manager role in a project-based environment
• Intermediate Word
• Intermediate Excel
• Experience in working on multiple projects at the same time
• Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies and working experience in agile tools like JIRA/Confluence is preferable
• Good time management skills; able to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Able to communicate effectively at different levels within the organization, assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Able to assess the scrum maturity of the team and organization and support the team to reach higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable
• Fluent in technology and strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies / techniques
• Solid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management skills

Pay Range : $43.56 - $51.56
