The Lead Software Developer will provide Operations and Maintenance, as well as Development and Integration of Software and Advance Analytics in support of the UCSA platform.nnResponsibilities:nnGather customer technical and functional requirements for the development of software and analytic products.nnDefines specifications and functional requirements for complex software systems.nnAssess and identify design options to meet functional requirements and deliver technical efficiencies.nnAssess design impacts on hardware and integration requirements.nnLead the development of system-level designs including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for system software and analytic products.nnEnsure system compliance and compatibility with DoD standards and architecture.nnCreates and maintains software design documents throughout the product lifecycle.nnProvide technical analysis, operation, integration, and user support services for system software.nnProvide Troubleshooting, Problem Resolution, and technical guidance in overcoming development obstacles and questions.nnProvides Subject Matter Expertise in the evaluation and selection of COTS/GOTS software and development tools.nnRequirementsnnBachelor's degree in a technical field plus ten (10) years of relevant IT experience.nnAn active Secret level security clearance.nnA DoD 8570 IAT Level II approved certification is required.nnExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing ability, is required.nnExperience Developing and Supporting Analytic Services.nnExperience with Real Time Data Streaming ToolsnnExperience using Data Warehouse toolsnnExperience with JIRA and GIT development environments.nnKnowledge of containerization and micro-services technologies and tools.nnKnowledge of AGILE and ITIL methodologies.nnAbility to work under pressure and compressed time constraints as a member of a cross-functional team.nnWe invest in the lives of our employees, both in and out of the workplace, by providing competitive pay and benefits packages.
